Method

Pimento Cheese Preparation

  1. 1

    Combine Ingredients

In a large mixing bowl, combine the sharp cheddar cheese, cream cheese, pimentos, and mayonnaise.

  2. 2

    Add Seasonings

Sprinkle in the garlic powder, onion powder, cayenne pepper, salt, and black pepper. Mix until well combined.

  3. 3

    Chill

Cover the bowl and refrigerate the pimento cheese for at least 1 hour to allow the flavors to meld.

Gold & Purple Potato Chips Preparation

  1. 4

    Slice Potatoes

Thinly slice the golden and purple potatoes using a mandoline or sharp knife.

  2. 5

    Heat Oil

In a large pot, heat the vegetable oil over medium-high heat until it reaches 350°F (175°C).

  3. 6

    Fry Chips

Carefully add the sliced potatoes in batches to the hot oil. Fry until golden brown and crispy, about 3-4 minutes per batch.

  4. 7

    Drain and Season

Remove chips with a slotted spoon and drain on paper towels. Sprinkle with salt to taste.

Giardiniera Preparation

  1. 8

    Prepare Vegetables

Chop the assorted vegetables into small, bite-sized pieces.

  2. 9

    Mix Marinade

In a mixing bowl, whisk together the olive oil, red wine vinegar, minced garlic cloves, oregano, and crushed red pepper flakes.

  3. 10

    Combine and Marinate

Add the chopped vegetables to the marinade and mix well. Let sit for at least 30 minutes before serving.

Hot Sauce Preparation

    Serve

Serve your dish with hot sauce on the side for guests to add as desired.
