Pork Ribs

Method

Cooking Instructions

  1. 1

    Prepare the Ribs

Preheat your oven to 150°C (300°F). Rinse the pork ribs under cold water and pat them dry with paper towels. Remove the silver skin from the back of the ribs if it's still attached.

  2. 2

    Season the Ribs

In a small bowl, mix together salt, black pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, and paprika. Rub the seasoning mixture evenly over both sides of the ribs.

  3. 3

    Bake the Ribs

Place the ribs on a baking sheet lined with aluminum foil. Cover the ribs tightly with another piece of aluminum foil and bake in the preheated oven for 2.5 to 3 hours, until tender.

  4. 4

    Make the BBQ Sauce

While the ribs are baking, combine BBQ sauce, apple cider vinegar, honey, and water in a saucepan. Bring to a simmer over medium heat, stirring occasionally, and let it cook for about 10 minutes.

  5. 5

    Finish the Ribs

Remove the ribs from the oven and discard the top layer of foil. Brush the BBQ sauce generously over the ribs, then return them to the oven without the foil. Bake for an additional 30 minutes to caramelize the sauce.

  6. 6

    Serve

Remove the ribs from the oven and let them rest for 10 minutes before cutting. Serve with extra BBQ sauce on the side.
