Cooking Instructions

  1. 1

    Prepare the Marinade

In a bowl, mix together the olive oil, smoked paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, black pepper, and apple cider vinegar to create a marinade.

  2. 2

    Marinate the Chicken

Coat the chicken leg quarters with the marinade thoroughly. Cover and refrigerate for at least 1 hour, or overnight for better flavor.

  3. 3

    Preheat the Smoker

Preheat your smoker to 225°F (107°C). Add your choice of wood chips for smoking (hickory or applewood work well).

  4. 4

    Smoke the Chicken

Place the marinated chicken leg quarters in the smoker. Smoke for about 2 to 3 hours, or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C).

  5. 5

    Rest and Serve

Remove the chicken from the smoker and let it rest for about 10 minutes before serving. Enjoy your smoked chicken leg quarters!
