Prepare the Tea
1. Boil Water
In a medium saucepan, bring 4 cups of water to a boil over high heat.
2. Steep Tea
Once the water is boiling, remove it from heat. Add 4 tablespoons of Thai black tea leaves to the hot water. Cover the saucepan and let it steep for about 10-15 minutes.
3. Strain Tea
After steeping, strain the tea into a pitcher to remove the tea leaves. Allow the tea to cool to room temperature.
Prepare the Sweetened Milk Mixture

5. Fill Glasses
In tall glasses, add 1 cup of ice cubes to each glass.
6. Combine Tea and Milk
Pour the cooled Thai tea over the ice in each glass until two-thirds full. Then, add the sweetened milk mixture to fill the glasses almost to the brim.
7. Garnish
Optional: Garnish each drink with a piece of star anise for an aromatic touch.
8. Serve
