Method

Prepare the Chicken

  1. 1

    Cut Chicken

Cut the chicken breast into thin strips.

  2. 2

    Marinate Chicken

In a medium bowl, combine 3 tablespoons of soy sauce, cornstarch, and sesame oil. Mix well.

  3. 3

    Marinate

Add the chicken strips to the marinade, coating them evenly. Let marinate for at least 15 minutes.

Cook the Noodles

  1. 4

    Boil Noodles

Bring a large pot of water to a boil. Add the Lo Mein noodles and cook according to package instructions until al dente.

  2. 5

    Drain and Rinse

Once cooked, drain the noodles and rinse under cold water. Set aside.

Prepare the Sauce

  1. 6

    Make Sauce

In a small bowl, mix together 4 tablespoons of soy sauce, oyster sauce, chicken broth, sugar, and ground pepper until well combined.

Stir-Fry

    Cook Chicken

In a large skillet or wok, heat a tablespoon of oil over medium-high heat. Once hot, add the marinated chicken strips.

  2. 8

    Remove Chicken

Stir-fry the chicken for about 5-7 minutes until it is cooked through and no longer pink. Remove from the skillet and set aside.

  3. 9

    Cook Vegetables

In the same skillet, add a little more oil if needed. Add garlic, ginger, bell pepper, carrot, and snap peas. Stir-fry for 3-4 minutes until the vegetables are tender-crisp.

Return the cooked chicken to the skillet with the vegetables. Pour the sauce over the chicken and vegetables, stirring to combine.
