Method

Marinating the Beef

  1. 1

    Prepare the Marinade

In a bowl, mix together the soy sauce, cornstarch, rice vinegar, and sesame oil.

  2. 2

    Marinate the Beef

Add the thinly sliced beef sirloin to the marinade and toss to coat. Let it marinate for at least 30 minutes.

Preparing the Sauce

  1. 3

    Mix the Sauce Ingredients

In a small bowl, combine soy sauce, hoisin sauce, sugar, and water. Stir until the sugar is dissolved.

Stir-Frying

  1. 4

    Heat the Oil

In a large skillet or wok, heat the vegetable oil over high heat.

  2. 5

    Cook the Beef

Add the marinated beef to the hot oil and stir-fry for about 3-4 minutes until browned. Remove the beef and set aside.

  3. 6

    Stir-Fry the Vegetables

In the same skillet, add garlic, ginger, red and green bell peppers, and zucchini. Stir-fry for 3-5 minutes until they are tender-crisp.

  4. 7

    Combine Ingredients

Add the cooked beef back into the skillet along with the dried red chilies and the prepared sauce. Stir well to combine everything.

  5. 8

Finish with Peanuts and Green Onions

Cook for another 1-2 minutes until everything is heated through. Stir in the chopped peanuts and green onions.

Serving
