Method

Preparing the Salmon

  1. 1

    Season the Salmon

Sprinkle salt and black pepper evenly on both sides of the salmon fillets. Let them sit for about 10 minutes to absorb the seasoning.

  2. 2

    Heat the Olive Oil

In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium-high heat until it shimmers.

  3. 3

    Fry the Salmon

Carefully place the salmon fillets in the skillet, skin-side down. Cook for about 4-5 minutes until the skin is crispy. Flip and cook for another 3-4 minutes on the other side until the salmon is cooked through and flakes easily with a fork.

  4. 4

    Serve

Remove the salmon from the skillet and serve immediately with lemon wedges on the side.

Making the Tangy & Spicy Ginger Sauce

  1. 5

    Combine Ingredients

In a small saucepan, combine the grated ginger, minced garlic, soy sauce, honey, Sriracha sauce, rice vinegar, and sesame oil.

  2. 6

    Heat the Sauce

Bring the mixture to a gentle simmer over medium heat, stirring occasionally for about 3-4 minutes until slightly thickened.

  3. 7

    Garnish

Remove from heat and stir in the chopped green onions and sesame seeds. Let it cool slightly before serving.
