Meatballs

Prepare the Meatball Mixture
In a large mixing bowl, combine ground beef, breadcrumbs, grated Parmesan cheese, minced garlic, egg, salt, black pepper, and Italian seasoning. Mix until just combined.

Form the Meatballs
Using your hands, form the mixture into small meatballs, about the size of a golf ball. Place them on a baking sheet.

Cook the Meatballs
Preheat your oven to 200°C (400°F). Bake the meatballs for 20-25 minutes or until cooked through and browned on the outside.

Prepare the Sauce
Add canned crushed tomatoes, dried basil, dried oregano, salt, black pepper, and sugar to the saucepan. Stir well to combine.

Simmer the Sauce
Bring the sauce to a simmer and let it cook for 20 minutes. Stir occasionally.
Spaghetti

Boil the Water
In a large pot, bring 4 liters of water to a boil. Add 1 tablespoon of salt to the water.

Cook the Spaghetti
Add spaghetti pasta to the boiling water and cook according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.

Combine with Sauce
Add the cooked spaghetti to the simmering sauce and toss to coat the pasta evenly.
Garlic Bread

Prepare the Garlic Butter
In a small bowl, mix softened butter with minced garlic and chopped parsley until well combined.

Place the bread halves on a baking sheet and bake in the oven for 10-15 minutes at 200°C (400°F) until golden and crispy.
