Method

Chicken Tenders

  1. 1

    Prepare the Chicken

Cut the chicken breast into strips about 1 inch wide.

  2. 2

    Set Up Breading Stations

In three separate bowls, set up the breading stations: one with flour, one with beaten eggs, and one with bread crumbs mixed with garlic powder, paprika, salt, and pepper.

  3. 3

    Bread the Chicken

Dredge each chicken strip first in flour, then dip into the beaten eggs, and finally coat with the bread crumb mixture.

  4. 4

    Fry the Chicken

In a large skillet, heat the cooking oil over medium-high heat. Once hot, add the breaded chicken strips and fry for about 5-7 minutes on each side until golden brown and cooked through.

  5. 5

    Drain Excess Oil

Remove the chicken tenders from the skillet and place them on a paper towel-lined plate to drain excess oil.

French Fries

  1. 6

    Prepare the Potatoes

Peel the potatoes and cut them into thin strips (about 1/4 inch thick).

  2. 7

    Soak the Potatoes

Soak the cut potatoes in cold water for at least 30 minutes to remove excess starch.

  3. 8

    Heat the Oil

In a deep fryer or a large pot, heat the cooking oil to 350°F (175°C).

  4. 9

    Fry the Potatoes

Drain the soaked potatoes and dry them thoroughly. Fry in batches for about 4-5 minutes until golden and crispy.

  5. 10

    Season the Fries

Remove the fries from the oil and place them on paper towels to absorb excess oil. Season with salt while hot.

Drink

  1. 11

    Serve the Drink

Open the can of soda and serve it in a glass or directly from the can.
