Boil Water
In a large pot, bring 4 liters of water to a rolling boil.

Heat Olive Oil
In a large skillet over medium heat, add 2 tablespoons of olive oil and heat until shimmering.

- 7
Add Tomatoes and Seasoning
Stir in 400 grams of canned crushed tomatoes, 2 tablespoons of tomato paste, 1 teaspoon of dried oregano, 1 teaspoon of dried basil, 1 teaspoon of salt, 1 teaspoon of black pepper, and 1 teaspoon of sugar. Mix well.

Reduce the heat to low and let the sauce simmer for about 20 minutes, stirring occasionally.
- 9
Serve
Serve the sauce over the cooked spaghetti and top with 50 grams of grated Parmesan cheese.
