Prepare the Dough
In a bowl, combine warm water, sugar, and yeast. Let it sit for 5-10 minutes until frothy. In a large mixing bowl, combine flour and salt. Make a well in the center and pour in the yeast mixture and olive oil. Mix until a dough forms.

Knead the Dough
Turn the dough onto a floured surface and knead for about 5-7 minutes until smooth and elastic. Place in a greased bowl, cover, and let rise for 1 hour or until doubled in size.

Shape the Knots
Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C). Once risen, punch the dough down and divide into 12 equal pieces. Roll each piece into a rope and tie into a knot. Place on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.

Prepare the Garlic Butter
In a small saucepan, melt butter over low heat. Add minced garlic, parsley, and salt. Stir until combined.
