Meatballs

Method

Preparation

  1. 1

    Make the Meatball Mixture

In a large mixing bowl, combine ground beef, breadcrumbs, grated Parmesan cheese, egg, minced garlic, chopped parsley, salt, and black pepper. Mix well until all ingredients are evenly incorporated.

  2. 2

    Form the Meatballs

Using your hands, form the mixture into meatballs, about 1 inch in diameter. Place them on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.

  3. 3

    Cook the Meatballs

Preheat the oven to 200°C (400°F). Bake the meatballs for 20-25 minutes, or until they are cooked through and browned on the outside.

  4. 4

    Prepare the Tomato Sauce

In a saucepan, prepare your favorite tomato sauce or use store-bought. Simmer the sauce for 10 minutes.

  5. 5

    Combine and Serve

Once the meatballs are done, add them to the simmering tomato sauce and let them cook together for an additional 5 minutes. Serve hot, topped with extra Parmesan cheese if desired.
