Cooking Instructions
- 1
Prepare the Ham
Preheat your oven to 325°F (163°C). Remove the ham from packaging and place it in a large roasting pan.
- 2
Make the Glaze
In a medium saucepan, combine the brown sugar, honey, Dijon mustard, cloves, apple cider vinegar, and water. Stir over medium heat until the sugar dissolves and the mixture is well combined.
- 3
Score the Ham
Using a sharp knife, score the surface of the ham in a diamond pattern. This will help the glaze penetrate the meat.
- 4
Glaze the Ham
Brush half of the glaze over the scored ham, making sure to get it into the cuts.
- 5
Bake the Ham
Cover the ham loosely with aluminum foil and place it in the preheated oven. Bake for 1.5 to 2 hours, basting every 30 minutes with the remaining glaze.
- 6
Finish the Ham
Remove the foil during the last 30 minutes of baking to allow the glaze to caramelize. The internal temperature of the ham should reach 140°F (60°C).
- 7
Rest and Serve
Once done, remove the ham from the oven and let it rest for 15-20 minutes before slicing. Serve warm.
