Method

Pancake Directions

  1. 1

    Prepare the Batter

In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the all-purpose flour, baking powder, sugar, and salt until well combined.

  2. 2

    Mix Wet Ingredients

In another bowl, whisk together the milk, egg, and melted butter until smooth.

  3. 3

    Combine Mixtures

Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients. Stir gently until just combined; a few lumps are okay. Do not overmix.

  4. 4

    Cook the Pancakes

Heat a non-stick skillet or griddle over medium heat. Pour 1/4 cup of batter onto the skillet for each pancake. Cook until bubbles form on the surface and the edges look set, about 2-3 minutes. Flip and cook until golden brown, about 1-2 minutes more. Repeat with remaining batter.

Peanut Butter Sauce Directions

  1. 5

    Make the Sauce

In a small saucepan over low heat, combine the creamy peanut butter, maple syrup, and milk. Stir continuously until the mixture is smooth and heated through. Remove from heat.

Assembly

  1. 6

    Prepare the Bananas

Slice the bananas into thin rounds.

  2. 7

    Serve the Dish

Stack the pancakes on a plate, drizzle generously with the peanut butter sauce, and top with banana slices. Serve warm and enjoy!
