Preparation

  1. 1

    Prepare the Marinade

In a small bowl, combine olive oil, garlic powder, salt, black pepper, dried rosemary, and lemon juice. Whisk together until well mixed.

  2. 2

    Marinate the Steak

Place the sirloin steak in a shallow dish or a resealable plastic bag. Pour the marinade over the steak, ensuring it is evenly coated. Cover or seal and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes, or up to 2 hours for more flavor.

Cooking

  1. 3

    Preheat the Grill

Preheat your grill to medium-high heat (around 400°F or 200°C).

  2. 4

    Cook the Steak

Remove the steak from the marinade, allowing excess marinade to drip off. Place the steak on the grill and cook for about 4-5 minutes on one side for medium-rare, or until it reaches your desired doneness. Flip the steak and cook for an additional 4-5 minutes.

  3. 5

    Rest the Steak

Once cooked to your liking, remove the steak from the grill and let it rest for 5 minutes before slicing. This allows the juices to redistribute.
