Method

Preparing Croissant

  1. 1

    Warm the Croissant

Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Place the buttery croissant on a baking sheet and warm it in the oven for about 5-7 minutes until golden and flaky.

Cooking Eggs

  1. 2

    Fry the Eggs

In a non-stick skillet, melt 1 tablespoon of butter over medium heat. Crack the two large eggs into the skillet, being careful not to break the yolks. Season with salt and black pepper. Cook for about 3-4 minutes until the whites are set and the yolks are still runny, or to your desired doneness.

Melting Cheese

  1. 3

    Add Cheese to Eggs

Once the eggs are cooked, carefully place one slice of American cheese and one slice of Swiss cheese on top of each egg in the skillet. Cover with a lid for about 1-2 minutes until the cheese is melted.

Cooking Meat

  1. 4

    Prepare Your Meat

In a separate skillet, cook your choice of ham, bacon, or sausage according to package instructions until heated through and crispy. If using bacon, cook until crispy and drain on paper towels.

Making Hash Browns

  1. 5

    Cook Hash Browns

In the same skillet used for the meat, add 2 tablespoons of vegetable oil over medium heat. Add 1 cup of frozen hash browns, spreading them out evenly. Cook for about 5-7 minutes on each side until golden brown and crispy, seasoning with salt and pepper to taste.

Assembling the Croissant

  1. 6

    Assemble Your Breakfast Croissant

Slice the warmed croissant in half. Layer the cooked meat of your choice on the bottom half, followed by the cheesy fried eggs. Place the top half of the croissant over the filling and serve with a side of crispy hash browns.
