Preparation Steps

1

Cook the Cavatelli

In a large pot, bring salted water to a boil. Add the cavatelli pasta and cook according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.

2

Prepare the Halibut

Season the halibut fillets with salt and black pepper on both sides. In a large skillet, heat 2 tablespoons of olive oil over medium heat. Add the halibut fillets and cook for about 4-5 minutes on each side, or until the fish flakes easily with a fork. Remove from skillet and keep warm.

3

Sauté the Peas

In the same skillet, add the remaining tablespoon of olive oil and minced garlic. Sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant. Add the fresh English peas and cook for another 2-3 minutes until bright green and tender. Stir in the lemon juice and season with salt and pepper.

4

Combine and Serve

Add the cooked cavatelli to the skillet with peas, tossing to combine and heat through. Plate the cavatelli and peas mixture, top with the halibut fillets, and garnish with chopped parsley. Serve immediately.
