Breads Preparation

1

Prepare the Dough

In a large bowl, mix the warm water, sugar, and yeast. Let it sit for about 5-10 minutes until frothy.

2

Add the olive oil, salt, all-purpose flour, whole wheat flour, and rye flour to the yeast mixture. Stir until a dough forms.

3

Knead the dough on a floured surface for about 8-10 minutes until smooth and elastic.

4

Place the dough in an oiled bowl, cover with a damp cloth, and let it rise in a warm place for about 1 hour, or until doubled in size.

5

Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).

6

Punch down the dough and divide it into smaller portions. Shape them into loaves or rolls and place them on a baking sheet.

7

Let the shaped dough rise for another 30 minutes before baking.

8

Bake for 25-30 minutes, or until golden brown. Let cool on a wire rack.

Olive Oil Mixture Preparation

9

Mix the Dipping Oil

In a small bowl, combine the extra virgin olive oil, balsamic vinegar, dried oregano, dried basil, and crushed red pepper flakes.

10

Whisk together until well combined. Adjust seasoning as desired.
