Base Layer Preparation
- 1
Prepare the Crust
In a mixing bowl, combine the crushed graham crackers, cocoa powder, and melted butter. Mix until all the ingredients are well incorporated and the mixture resembles wet sand.
- 2
Form the Base Layer
Evenly distribute the mixture into the bottom of serving bowls, pressing down gently to form a firm base. Set aside.
Pudding Layer Preparation
- 3
Prepare Pudding
In a large bowl, whisk together the instant chocolate pudding mix and milk until smooth. Stir in the vanilla extract. Continue whisking for about 2 minutes until the mixture thickens.
- 4
Layer the Pudding
Spoon the pudding mixture over the prepared base layer in each bowl, filling them about 3/4 full. Refrigerate for at least 5 minutes to allow the pudding to set.
Topping Layer Preparation
- 5
Add Whipped Cream
Once the pudding has set, remove the bowls from the refrigerator. Top each bowl with a generous dollop of whipped cream.
- 6
Garnish
Sprinkle chocolate shavings over the whipped cream for decoration. If desired, add a cherry on top of each dessert bowl for an extra touch.
