Method

Engraving Process

  1. 1

    Preparing the Glassware

Clean the glassware thoroughly with rubbing alcohol to remove any dust or oils.

  2. 2

    Applying the Stencil

Use masking tape to secure the stencil or vinyl design on the glassware, ensuring it is positioned correctly.

  3. 3

    Applying Etching Cream

Wearing safety gloves, apply a generous amount of etching cream over the exposed areas of the stencil using a sponge or applicator tool.

  4. 4

    Waiting Period

Allow the etching cream to sit on the glass for the time recommended on the packaging, usually around 10-15 minutes.

  5. 5

    Rinsing the Glassware

After the waiting period, rinse the glassware under warm running water to remove the etching cream.

  6. 6

    Removing the Stencil

Carefully remove the stencil or vinyl design to reveal the engraved pattern.

  7. 7

    Final Cleaning

Wash the glassware with soap and water to ensure all residues are removed. Let them dry completely.
