Elk Burger Preparation

1. Prepare the Elk Patties

In a large bowl, combine the ground elk meat, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, black pepper, and Worcestershire sauce. Mix until just combined, being careful not to overwork the meat.

2. Form Patties

Divide the mixture into 4 equal portions and shape each into a patty about ¾ inch thick.

3. Cook the Patties

Preheat a grill or skillet over medium-high heat. Cook the elk patties for about 4-5 minutes on each side, or until they reach an internal temperature of 160°F.
