Method

Cheeseburger Directions

  1. 1

    Prepare the Fries

Preheat the oven to 425°F (220°C). Slice the potatoes into fries, toss them with olive oil, and season with salt and pepper. Spread them evenly on a baking sheet and bake for 25-30 minutes until golden brown.

  2. 2

    Cook the Beef Patties

While the fries are baking, form the ground beef into two patties. Season both sides with salt and black pepper. Heat a skillet or grill over medium-high heat and cook the patties for about 4-5 minutes on each side or until they reach your desired doneness.

  3. 3

    Add Cheese

In the last minute of cooking, place a slice of cheddar cheese on each patty and cover the skillet to melt the cheese.

  4. 4

    Assemble the Burger

Toast the burger buns if desired. Place the cooked beef patty with melted cheese on the bottom half of each bun. Top with lettuce, tomato, ketchup, and mustard, then place the top half of the bun on.

  5. 5

    Serve

Serve the cheeseburgers hot with the baked fries on the side.
