Method
Preparing the Wings
- 1
Preheat the Oven
Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C). This high temperature will help achieve the crispy texture.
- 2
Prepare the Chicken Wings
In a large bowl, combine the chicken wings with baking powder, salt, black pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, and olive oil. Toss well to ensure all wings are evenly coated.
- 3
Arrange on Baking Sheet
Place the seasoned chicken wings on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper, making sure they are spread out in a single layer. This helps them cook evenly.
Cooking the Wings
- 4
Bake the Wings
Bake the chicken wings in the preheated oven for 40-45 minutes, flipping them halfway through for even cooking.
- 5
Check for Crispiness
The wings should be golden brown and crispy. If they are not crispy enough, you can broil them for an additional 3-5 minutes.
Saucing the Wings
- 6
Choose Your Sauce
Once the wings are done, remove them from the oven and place them in a large bowl. Choose your desired sauce (buffalo, barbecue, honey garlic, etc.).
- 7
Toss in Sauce
Pour the sauce over the wings and toss until they are evenly coated. You can adjust the amount of sauce according to your preference.
Serving
- 8
Plate and Serve
Transfer the sauced wings to a serving platter. Serve immediately with ranch or blue cheese dressing on the side for dipping.
