Cooking Pasta

    Boil Water

    In a large pot, bring 4 quarts of water to a rolling boil. Add a pinch of salt.

    Cook Pasta

    Add 8 cups of pasta to the boiling water and cook according to package directions until al dente, usually about 8-10 minutes.

    Drain Pasta

    Once cooked, drain the pasta in a colander and set aside.

Sautéing Vegetables

    Heat Olive Oil

    In a large skillet, heat 2 tablespoons of olive oil over medium heat.

    Add Garlic

    Add 3 minced cloves of garlic to the skillet and sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant.

    Cook Vegetables

    Add 1 cup each of diced bell pepper, zucchini, carrot, and broccoli florets. Sauté for about 5-7 minutes until vegetables are tender.

    Add Cherry Tomatoes

    Add 1 cup of cherry tomatoes and continue to cook for another 2-3 minutes until they begin to soften.

Combining Ingredients

    Add Marinara Sauce

    Pour 2 cups of marinara sauce into the skillet with the sautéed vegetables. Stir well to combine.

    Season

    Add 1 teaspoon of salt and 1 teaspoon of black pepper to the sauce and stir until well mixed.

    Combine with Pasta

    Add the drained pasta to the skillet and toss well to coat the pasta with the sauce and vegetables.

    Serve

    Serve hot, garnished with 0.5 cup of grated Parmesan cheese on top.
