Method
Preparing the Salad
- 1
Prepare the Romaine Lettuce
Wash the romaine lettuce under cold water to remove any dirt. Pat dry with a clean kitchen towel or salad spinner. Chop the lettuce into bite-sized pieces and place in a large salad bowl.
- 2
Cook the Chicken
Season the grilled chicken breasts with salt and pepper. Grill on medium-high heat for about 6-7 minutes on each side or until fully cooked and juices run clear. Once cooked, let the chicken rest for a few minutes before slicing it into strips.
- 3
Add Croutons
Sprinkle the croutons over the chopped romaine lettuce in the salad bowl.
Making the Dressing
- 4
Combine Dressing Ingredients
In a medium bowl, combine the mayonnaise, grated Parmesan cheese, lemon juice, minced garlic, Worcestershire sauce, salt, and pepper. Whisk together until smooth and creamy.
- 5
Taste and Adjust
Taste the dressing and adjust seasoning with more salt and pepper if needed.
Assembling the Salad
- 6
Combine Salad and Dressing
Pour the Caesar dressing over the chopped romaine lettuce, croutons, and sliced grilled chicken. Toss gently to combine all ingredients until evenly coated with the dressing.
- 7
Serve
Serve immediately, garnished with additional grated Parmesan cheese if desired.
