Chop the Tomatoes
Dice the fresh tomatoes into small pieces and place them in a mixing bowl.

Prepare the Basil
Rinse the fresh basil leaves under cold water, pat dry, and then chop them roughly.

Mince the Garlic
Peel and mince the garlic cloves, then add them to the bowl with the tomatoes and basil.

Season the Mixture
Add salt to the tomato, basil, and garlic mixture. Stir well to combine.
Toast the Bread

Slice the Baguette
Cut the baguette into 1/2 inch thick slices at a diagonal angle.

Toast the Bread
Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Place the slices on a baking sheet and toast in the oven for about 5-7 minutes, or until they are golden brown.
Assemble the Bruschetta

Once the bread is toasted, remove it from the oven and allow it to cool for a minute. Spoon the tomato mixture generously on top of each slice.
