Method

Preparation

  1. 1

    Prepare the proteins

Slice the chicken breast and beef sirloin into thin strips. Ensure the shrimp is peeled and deveined.

  2. 2

    Chop the vegetables

Slice the bell pepper, onion, and zucchini into thin strips. Mince the garlic cloves.

Cooking

  1. 3

    Cook the chicken and beef

In a large skillet or wok, heat 1 tablespoon of sesame oil over medium-high heat. Add the sliced chicken and beef, cooking until browned and cooked through, about 5-7 minutes. Remove from the skillet and set aside.

  2. 4

    Sauté the shrimp

In the same skillet, add the shrimp and cook for 2-3 minutes until they turn pink. Remove and set aside with the chicken and beef.

  3. 5

    Stir-fry the vegetables

Add the minced garlic, bell pepper, onion, and zucchini to the skillet. Stir-fry for about 5 minutes, or until the vegetables are tender.

  4. 6

    Prepare the sauce

In a small bowl, whisk together the soy sauce, mirin, honey, cornstarch, and water until smooth.

  5. 7

    Combine everything

Return the cooked chicken, beef, and shrimp to the skillet with the vegetables. Pour the sauce over the mixture, stirring well to coat everything. Cook for an additional 2-3 minutes until the sauce thickens.

Serving

  1. 8

    Garnish and serve

Sprinkle sesame seeds and sliced green onions on top before serving. Enjoy your Combo Yaki!
