Method

Beef Patties

  1. 1

    Prepare the Beef

In a mixing bowl, combine ground beef, salt, and black pepper. Mix gently until just combined.

  2. 2

    Form Patties

Divide the mixture into two equal portions and shape them into thin patties. Make a slight indentation in the center of each patty to prevent puffing during cooking.

  3. 3

    Cook the Patties

In a skillet over medium-high heat, cook the patties for about 3-4 minutes on each side until browned and cooked to your desired doneness.

Mushrooms

  1. 4

    Sauté the Mushrooms

In a separate skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add the sliced mushrooms and garlic, and sauté for about 5-7 minutes until the mushrooms are tender and golden.

Bacon

  1. 5

    Cook the Bacon

In the same skillet used for the mushrooms or a separate one, cook the hickory smoked bacon until crispy. Remove and drain on paper towels.

Assembly

  1. 6

    Assemble the Burger

Place one beef patty on the bottom half of each pretzel bun, top with a slice of Swiss cheese, sautéed mushrooms, and two slices of bacon. Drizzle with teriyaki sauce, then place the top half of the bun over the burger.

  2. 7

    Serve

Serve the Teriyaki Mushroom Swiss burgers warm with your choice of side.
