Beef Patties

Cooking Essentials

Method

Beef Patties

  1. 1

    Prepare the Patties

In a bowl, mix the ground beef with salt and black pepper. Divide into two equal portions and shape each portion into a patty, about 1/2 inch thick.

  2. 2

    Cook the Patties

Heat a skillet or grill over medium-high heat. Add the patties and cook for about 3-4 minutes on each side or until they reach your desired doneness. In the last minute of cooking, place a slice of Swiss cheese on top of each patty to melt.

Toppings

  1. 3

    Cook the Bacon

In a separate skillet, cook the hickory smoked bacon over medium heat until crispy, about 4-5 minutes. Remove and place on paper towels to drain excess fat.

  2. 4

    Grill the Mushrooms

In the same skillet, add olive oil and heat over medium heat. Add sliced mushrooms and sauté for about 5-7 minutes until they are golden and tender.

  3. 5

    Assemble the Burger

On the bottom half of each pretzel bun, place the beef patty with melted Swiss cheese. Top with grilled mushrooms, crispy bacon, and drizzle with teriyaki sauce. Place the top half of the bun on and press gently.

Serving

  1. 6

    Serve

Serve the Teriyaki Mushroom & Swiss burger immediately with your choice of side, such as fries or a salad.
