Coat the Chicken
Add the thick-cut chicken breasts to the marinade, ensuring they are fully coated. Cover and refrigerate for at least 1 hour, or overnight for best results.

Prepare the Asparagus
While the chicken is marinating, wash and trim the asparagus stalks.

For the Garlic Mashed Potatoes

Cook the Potatoes
Peel and cut potatoes into chunks. Boil in salted water until tender, about 15-20 minutes.

While the potatoes are boiling, mince the garlic cloves.

Combine Sauce Ingredients
In a saucepan, combine the peach preserves, whiskey, soy sauce, apple cider vinegar, cornstarch, and water.

Cook the Sauce
Heat over medium heat, stirring constantly until the sauce thickens, about 5-10 minutes. Remove from heat.
