Beef Patties

Sandwich Assembly

Method

Beef Patties

  1. 1

    Prepare the Beef

In a mixing bowl, combine the ground beef, salt, and black pepper. Mix until just combined, being careful not to overwork the meat.

  2. 2

    Form the Patties

Divide the beef mixture into two equal portions and shape them into patties, about 3/4 inch thick.

  3. 3

    Cook the Patties

Preheat a skillet or grill over medium-high heat. Cook the patties for about 3-4 minutes on each side or until they reach the desired doneness.

Sandwich Assembly

  1. 4

    Cook the Bacon

In a skillet, cook the hickory smoked bacon over medium heat until crispy. Remove from the skillet and place on paper towels to drain excess grease.

  2. 5

    Toast the Buns

If desired, toast the pretzel buns in the same skillet or on the grill for about 1-2 minutes until lightly golden.

  3. 6

    Assemble the Sandwich

Spread 2 tablespoons of creamy peanut butter on the bottom half of each pretzel bun. Then add 2 tablespoons of grape jelly on top of the peanut butter.

  4. 7

    Add the Patties and Bacon

Place one beef patty on each bun, followed by two slices of crispy bacon. Top with the other half of the pretzel bun.

  5. 8

    Serve

Serve immediately while hot, and enjoy your unique PB&J sandwich!
