For the Cilantro-Lime Sauce

Method

Preparing the Fish

  1. 1

    Marinate the Fish

In a medium bowl, combine the olive oil, lime juice, cumin, paprika, salt, and pepper. Add the fish fillets and coat them evenly with the marinade. Cover and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes.

  2. 2

    Cook the Fish

Preheat a grill or skillet over medium-high heat. Remove the fish from the marinade, letting any excess drip off. Cook the fish for 3-4 minutes on each side or until cooked through and flaky. Remove from heat and let rest for a few minutes before flaking with a fork.

Making the Cilantro-Lime Sauce

  1. 3

    Prepare the Sauce

In a small bowl, mix together the Greek yogurt (or sour cream), lime juice, minced garlic, chopped cilantro, and salt. Stir until well combined and adjust seasoning to taste. Set aside.

Assembling the Tacos

  1. 4

    Warm the Tortillas

Heat the corn tortillas in a dry skillet over medium heat for about 30 seconds on each side until warm and pliable.

  2. 5

    Build the Tacos

On each warm tortilla, place a generous amount of shredded cabbage, followed by the flaked fish, diced tomatoes, and sliced avocado. Drizzle with the cilantro-lime sauce and sprinkle with fresh cilantro.

  3. 6

    Serve

Serve the tacos immediately with additional lime wedges on the side, if desired.
