Chicken Wings

Method

Preparing the Chicken Wings

  1. 1

    Preheat the Oven

Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).

  2. 2

    Prepare the Wings

In a large bowl, toss the chicken wings with olive oil, salt, and black pepper until evenly coated.

  3. 3

    Arrange Wings

Place the wings on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper, ensuring they are in a single layer.

Making the Buffalo Sauce

  1. 4

    Melt the Butter

In a saucepan over medium heat, melt the stick of unsalted butter.

  2. 5

    Combine Ingredients

Once melted, add the hot sauce, garlic powder, and Worcestershire sauce. Stir until well combined.

  3. 6

    Simmer

Let the sauce simmer for about 5 minutes, stirring occasionally.

Cooking the Wings

  1. 7

    Bake the Wings

Bake the chicken wings in the preheated oven for 40-45 minutes, flipping them halfway through, until crispy and cooked through.

  2. 8

    Coat with Sauce

Remove the wings from the oven and transfer them to a large bowl. Pour the buffalo sauce over the wings and toss until coated.

Making the Blue Cheese Dressing

  1. 9

    Combine Dressing Ingredients

In a mixing bowl, combine the crumbled blue cheese, mayonnaise, sour cream, lemon juice, garlic powder, salt, and black pepper.

  2. 10

    Mix Until Smooth

Using a fork or a whisk, mix until the dressing is smooth and well combined. Adjust seasoning to taste.

Serving

  1. 11

    Plate the Wings

Serve the buffalo wings hot with a side of blue cheese dressing for dipping.
