Method

Brownie Preparation

  1. 1

    Preheat the Oven

Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) to get it ready for baking the brownies.

  2. 2

    Melt the Butter

In a medium saucepan, melt the butter over low heat. Remove from heat once melted.

  3. 3

    Mix in Sugar and Eggs

Stir in the granulated sugar and mix well. Next, add the eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition.

  4. 4

    Add Vanilla and Dry Ingredients

Mix in the vanilla extract. Then, sift together the flour, cocoa powder, and salt. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture, stirring until just combined.

  5. 5

    Pour into Baking Pan

Pour the brownie batter into a greased 9x9 inch baking pan, spreading it evenly.

  6. 6

    Bake

Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out with a few moist crumbs.

  7. 7

    Cool

Allow the brownies to cool in the pan for about 10 minutes before cutting them into squares.

Assembly

  1. 8

    Serve the Brownie

Place a warm brownie square on a plate.

  2. 9

    Add Ice Cream

Top the brownie with 2 scoops of vanilla ice cream.

  3. 10

    Drizzle with Chocolate Sauce

Drizzle chocolate sauce over the ice cream and brownie to your liking.

  4. 11

    Garnish

Finish with whipped cream and chocolate shavings or sprinkles, if desired.

  5. 12

    Enjoy!

Serve immediately while the brownie is warm and enjoy your delicious brownie sundae.
