Method

Burger Patty

  1. 1

    Prepare the Burger Patty

In a mixing bowl, combine the ground beef with blackening seasoning. Form into a patty approximately 1/2 inch thick.

  2. 2

    Cook the Patty

Preheat a skillet or grill over medium-high heat. Cook the burger patty for about 4-5 minutes on each side, or until it reaches your desired doneness.

Bacon

  1. 3

    Cook the Bacon

In a skillet over medium heat, cook the hickory smoked bacon until crispy, about 3-4 minutes per side. Remove from skillet and drain on paper towels.

Blue Cheese Dressing

  1. 4

    Make the Dressing

In a bowl, combine Raging River IPA, mayonnaise, sour cream, blue cheese crumbles, garlic powder, lemon juice, salt, and black pepper. Mix well until smooth and creamy. Adjust seasoning to taste.

Assembly

  1. 5

    Assemble the Burger

Toast the pretzel bun lightly in the skillet or toaster. On the bottom half of the bun, layer with lettuce and tomato (if using), followed by the cooked burger patty, crispy bacon, and a generous drizzle of the blue cheese dressing. Top with the other half of the pretzel bun and serve immediately.
