Brisket Ingredients

Method

Cooking Instructions

  1. 1

    Prepare the Brisket

Trim excess fat from the brisket and season it generously with kosher salt, black pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, and brown sugar.

  2. 2

    Smoke the Brisket

Place the seasoned brisket in a smoker preheated to 225°F (107°C). Smoke for approximately 6-8 hours or until it reaches an internal temperature of 195°F (90°C), making it tender.

  3. 3

    Rest the Brisket

Once smoked, remove the brisket from the smoker and wrap it in foil. Let it rest for at least 30 minutes.

  4. 4

    Cut into Cubes

After resting, cut the brisket into 1-inch cubes.

  5. 5

    Grill the Cubes

Preheat a grill to medium-high heat. Place the brisket cubes on the grill and sear for about 2-3 minutes on each side.

  6. 6

    Add BBQ Sauce

Once grilled, toss the burnt ends in Sweet n’ Spicy BBQ sauce until well coated.

  7. 7

    Serve

Remove from the grill and serve immediately while hot.
