Cocktail Ingredients

Method

Cocktail Preparation

  1. 1

    Muddle Blueberries and Mint

In a cocktail shaker, add the fresh blueberries and mint leaves. Muddle them together gently to release the juices and oils from the mint without tearing the leaves too much.

  2. 2

    Add Liquid Ingredients

To the muddled mixture, add the gin, Nonino Moscato Grappa, Liqueur de Violettes, and the egg white. The egg white will help create a frothy texture in the cocktail.

  3. 3

    Dry Shake

Secure the lid on the cocktail shaker and shake vigorously without ice for about 15 seconds. This is known as a dry shake, and it helps emulsify the egg white for a better froth.

  4. 4

    Shake with Ice

Add ice to the shaker and shake again for another 15 seconds until well chilled.

  5. 5

    Strain and Serve

Strain the mixture into a chilled coupe glass or cocktail glass. You can use a fine mesh strainer to catch any blueberry skins or mint bits.

  6. 6

    Garnish

Garnish with a few fresh blueberries and a mint leaf on top for a beautiful presentation.
