Secondi

  1. 1

    Prepare the Beef

Take the A5 Wagyu beef out of the refrigerator and allow it to come to room temperature for about 30 minutes before cooking. This step is crucial for even cooking.

  2. 2

    Season the Beef

Generously season both sides of the beef with sea salt and freshly ground black pepper, ensuring an even coating.

  3. 3

    Heat the Pan

In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium-high heat until shimmering. Make sure the oil is hot before adding the beef.

  4. 4

    Cook the Beef

Carefully place the seasoned Wagyu beef in the skillet. Sear for about 2-3 minutes on each side for medium-rare, adjusting the time for your preferred doneness.

  5. 5

    Add Aromatics

During the last minute of cooking, add fresh rosemary sprigs and butter to the skillet. Baste the beef with the melted butter and rosemary for additional flavor.

  6. 6

    Rest the Beef

Remove the beef from the skillet and let it rest on a cutting board for at least 5 minutes before slicing. This allows the juices to redistribute within the meat.

  7. 7

    Slice and Serve

Slice the rested Wagyu beef against the grain into thin strips. Serve immediately, drizzled with any remaining pan juices for added richness.
