Prepare the Russian Dressing

Mix Ingredients
In a medium bowl, combine mayonnaise, ketchup, horseradish, Worcestershire sauce, salt, and black pepper. Stir until well blended.
Assemble the Rueben

Layer the Ingredients
Take two slices of rye bread and spread a generous amount of the Russian dressing on each slice.

Add Corned Beef
Layer the sliced corned beef evenly on top of one slice of bread.

Add Sauerkraut
Top the corned beef with the sauerkraut, spreading it evenly.

Add Swiss Cheese
Place two slices of Swiss cheese on top of the sauerkraut. Cover with the second slice of bread to complete the sandwich.
Grill the Sandwich

Butter the Bread
Spread butter on the outer sides of each slice of bread.

Heat the Pan
Heat a skillet or frying pan over medium heat.

Cook the Sandwich
Place the sandwich in the skillet and cook for about 4-5 minutes on each side or until the bread is golden brown and the cheese is melted.
