Bun Preparation

    Prepare Yeast Mixture

    In a small bowl, combine warm water, sugar, and yeast. Let it sit for about 10 minutes until frothy.

    Make Dough

    In a large bowl, mix flour and salt. Make a well in the center, add olive oil and the yeast mixture. Stir until a dough forms.

    Knead Dough

    Transfer dough to a floured surface and knead for about 8-10 minutes until smooth. Place in a greased bowl, cover, and let rise for 1 hour.

    Shape Buns

    Punch down the risen dough and divide into 12 equal pieces. Shape into balls and place on a lined baking sheet. Cover and let rise for another 30 minutes.

    Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Bake for 15-20 minutes until golden brown. Let cool.
