Preparation Steps

  1. 1

    Prepare the Coffee

Brew 6 oz of fresh hot coffee using your preferred method (drip, French press, etc.) and set aside.

  2. 2

    Mix the Whiskey and Sugar

In a heatproof glass or Irish coffee mug, add 1 oz of Slane Irish Whiskey and 1 tsp of Demerara sugar. Stir gently until the sugar is dissolved.

  3. 3

    Add Coffee

Pour the hot brewed coffee into the glass over the whiskey and sugar mixture. Stir gently to combine.

  4. 4

    Incorporate Irish Cream

Add 1 oz of Irish Cream Liqueur to the coffee mixture, stirring gently to integrate.

  5. 5

    Top with Cream

Gently pour 1 oz of heavy cream over the back of a spoon so it floats on top of the coffee. Do not stir after adding the cream.

  6. 6

    Serve

Serve immediately while hot. Optionally, garnish with a sprinkle of cocoa powder or nutmeg on top of the cream.
