1

Prepare glass

Place a large ice cube into a chilled old-fashioned or rocks glass and set aside so the glass is cold. Alternatively, chill the glass in the freezer for 10–15 minutes before assembling the cocktail.

2

Combine ingredients

In a cocktail shaker add 2 oz Cincoro Añejo tequila, 0.5 oz fresh lime juice, 0.5 oz agave nectar, 0.5 oz orange liqueur, and 2 dashes of Angostura bitters.

3

Add ice and shake

Fill the shaker with ice (enough to come to just above the liquid level). Secure the lid and shake vigorously for about 10–12 seconds, until the outside of the shaker is well chilled.

4

Strain and serve

Double-strain (use a Hawthorne strainer and a fine mesh if available) the chilled cocktail into the prepared rocks glass over the large ice cube to keep dilution controlled.

5

Garnish

Express an orange twist over the drink by holding the twist about 2–3 inches above the glass and giving it a firm bend to release the oils, then rub the rim with the peel and drop the twist into the glass.

6

Optional: adjust sweetness to taste by adding an additional 0.25–0.5 oz agave if you prefer a sweeter cocktail, or use 0.25 oz less orange liqueur for a drier finish.
