Prepare the Glass
Take a tall glass (preferably a highball glass) and fill it with ice cubes until it's about three-quarters full.

Add Tequila
Pour 2 oz of tequila over the ice in the glass.

Pour Orange Juice
Slowly pour 4 oz of fresh orange juice into the glass, allowing it to mix gently with the tequila.

Add Grenadine
Carefully pour 1 oz of grenadine syrup into the glass. It will sink to the bottom, creating a gradient effect.

Garnish
Add a maraschino cherry on top of the drink and place an orange slice on the rim of the glass for garnish.

Serve
Serve immediately with a straw or a stirrer, allowing the drinker to mix the layers if desired.
