Prepare the Glass
Take a medium-sized glass and rub the rim with a grapefruit wedge to moisten it. Dip the rim into a plate of salt to coat it evenly. Set the glass aside.

In a cocktail shaker, combine the fresh grapefruit juice and gin. Add the ice cubes to the shaker.

Secure the shaker lid and shake vigorously for about 15 seconds until well combined and chilled.
