Preparation
- 1
Prepare the Marinade
In a small bowl, whisk together olive oil, lemon juice, minced garlic, chopped fresh herbs, salt, and black pepper until well combined.
- 2
Marinate the Fish
Place the fresh fish fillet in a shallow dish or a resealable plastic bag. Pour the marinade over the fish, ensuring it is evenly coated. Cover and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes, or up to 2 hours for more flavor.
Cooking
- 3
Preheat the Grill or Oven
Preheat your grill to medium-high heat or your oven to 400°F (200°C).
- 4
Cook the Fish
Remove the fish from the marinade and discard the marinade. If grilling, place the fish on the grill and cook for about 4-5 minutes per side, or until it flakes easily with a fork. If baking, place the fish on a lined baking sheet and bake for 12-15 minutes, or until cooked through.
