Sundae Assembly

Method

Brownie Layer

  1. 1

    Prep Brownie Batter

Add 3 large eggs, one at a time, mixing well after each addition. Stir in 2 tsp vanilla extract.

  2. 2

    Mix Dry Ingredients

In a separate bowl, mix 1 cup all-purpose flour, 0.5 cups cocoa powder, and 0.5 tsp salt. Gradually add the dry mixture to the wet mixture, stirring until just combined. Fold in 1 cup chocolate chips.

  3. 3

    Bake Brownies

Pour the brownie batter into a greased 9x13 inch baking pan. Bake for 20-25 minutes or until a toothpick inserted comes out with a few moist crumbs. Let cool completely.

  1. 4

In a large mixing bowl, cream together 0.5 cup unsalted butter, 0.5 cups granulated sugar, and 0.5 cups brown sugar until fluffy. Beat in 1 large egg and 1 tsp vanilla extract until smooth.

  2. 5

In another bowl, whisk together 1.5 cups all-purpose flour, 1 tsp baking soda, and 0.5 tsp salt. Gradually add the dry mixture to the wet mixture, mixing until well combined. Stir in 1 cup chocolate chips.

  3. 6

Scoop tablespoon-sized portions of the cookie dough onto a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Bake at 350°F (175°C) for 10-12 minutes or until the edges are golden. Let cool completely.

Sundae Assembly

  1. 7

    Assemble Sundae

  2. 8

    Add Toppings

Drizzle with 0.5 cup chocolate sauce and top with 0.5 cup whipped cream. Finish by placing a maraschino cherry on top of each sundae.
