Remove the membrane from the back of the pork ribs for better flavor absorption. Pat the ribs dry with paper towels.

In a bowl, mix together the brown sugar, paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, black pepper, salt, and cayenne pepper until thoroughly combined.

Generously apply the dry rub mixture to both sides of the ribs, ensuring they are evenly coated. Let the ribs sit at room temperature for 30 minutes to absorb the flavors.
