Method

Beef Tenderloin

  1. 1

    Prepare the Beef

Remove the beef tenderloin from the refrigerator and let it sit at room temperature for about 30 minutes before cooking.

  2. 2

    Season the Beef

Rub the beef tenderloin with olive oil, garlic powder, salt, and black pepper until evenly coated.

  3. 3

    Grill the Beef

Preheat the grill to high heat. Place the seasoned beef tenderloin on the grill and cook for about 5-7 minutes on each side for medium-rare. Use a meat thermometer to ensure the internal temperature reaches 135°F.

  4. 4

    Rest the Beef

Remove the beef from the grill and let it rest for 10 minutes before slicing.

Mashed Potatoes

  1. 5

    Prepare the Potatoes

Peel the russet potatoes and cut them into quarters.

  2. 6

    Boil the Potatoes

Place the potatoes in a large pot, cover with water, and add salt. Bring to a boil and cook until tender, about 15-20 minutes.

  3. 7

    Mash the Potatoes

Drain the potatoes and return them to the pot. Add butter, milk, salt, and black pepper. Mash until smooth and creamy.

Sautéed Greens

  1. 8

    Prepare the Greens

Wash the spinach thoroughly to remove any dirt or grit.

  2. 9

    Sauté the Garlic

In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add minced garlic and sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant.

  3. 10

    Cook the Spinach

Add the spinach to the skillet and sauté for 3-4 minutes, stirring frequently, until wilted. Season with salt and black pepper to taste.
