Method
Brewing the Cold Brew
- 1
Prepare Coffee Grounds
Coarse grind the coffee beans using a coffee grinder. The grind should resemble sea salt for optimal extraction.
- 2
Mix Coffee and Water
In a large pitcher or jar, combine 1 cup of coarse-ground coffee with 4 cups of cold water. Stir gently to ensure all coffee grounds are saturated.
- 3
Steep
Cover the pitcher or jar and let the mixture steep in the refrigerator for at least 12-24 hours. The longer it steeps, the stronger the flavor.
Straining
- 4
Strain Coffee
After steeping, use a fine mesh strainer or coffee filter to strain the coffee into a clean container, discarding the coffee grounds.
Flavoring and Serving
- 5
Add Flavor
Choose your flavor option: add 2 tablespoons of hazelnut, peppermint, or mocha syrup to the strained cold brew. Stir well to combine.

- 7
Garnish
Top with chocolate shavings or whipped cream if desired for an extra indulgent touch.
