Prepare the Glass
Fill a rocks glass with ice cubes to chill while you prepare the drink.

Combine Ingredients
In a mixing glass, add 2 oz of Bulleit Bourbon, 0.5 oz of maple syrup, and 2 dashes of orange bitters.

Stir the Mixture
Using a bar spoon, stir the mixture well for about 20-30 seconds until well chilled.

Strain into Glass
Remove the ice from the rocks glass and strain the mixture into the glass over fresh ice.

Garnish
Express the oils from a piece of orange peel over the drink and drop it in as a garnish.
